Affordable Access for Everyone

In the early days of online computing and even before the Internet, the staff and management of Access4All were busy innovating and creating the online world of today. Operating as Future Link (an online residential community) and Solution Services (business to business) we created ongoing services that are still successfully operating within this community. With the dot com revolution many of our services have become inmdustry standards and merged into other operating companies in Central Illinois. Today we are back, in the same pioneering spirit, to once again bring affordable Internet to the masses.

Some of the local area firsts we established include:
1979: Dedicated links established to provide online services for several Central Illinois business clients.
1988: The first multi-line online service with user-to-user teleconference. The first online service to allow users to send personal files to each other via e-mail file attachment.
1990: The first online service to make live teleconference connections to other online services.
1992: The first public system with a worldwide multi-system teleconference. (InterLink in 1992, then ChatLink in 1993).
1995: The first online service backed by a high-speed Internet connection. The first system to offer unlimited live Internet services (Telnet, FTP). The first menu online service to offer Internet connections via SLIP/PPP.
1995: The first to offer $20/month flat fee Internet billing. Previous Internet billing schemes Were charged at $1.25/minute, making Internet unaffordable or a business luxury.
1997: The first online service to use multiple backbone connections to the Internet.
1999: The first web-based online service to offer FutureLink3.
2004: We're back ...

Many of the fine features of our previous services have been lost to the public as our technology passed through others hands. Future Link and the local community it spawned is gone, although the flink.com domain still exists mainly to serve mail for another provider. The concept of local service has fallen by the way side as AOL and EarthLink dominate the residential market while "local" providers outsource support beyond our community. Gone are the days of personal attention. House calls are no longer made if a connection cannot be made to work properly.

Well, with your support, Access4All will change all that. We have streamlined our delivery methods to lower our costs and enable us to provide full quality service at ever more affordable prices.

We have made a committment to Central Illinois Access to provide first quality service to the low income community and people with disabilities. Special rates are avialble at Central Illinois Access for those who qualify. But we provide the same high quality service to everyone. And at prices below our competition.

We hope to see you online at Access4All soon.
